The Chilean company, backed by Limagas' parent company, is launching operations in Peru with a technological and human-centered approach that has already transformed transportation in Chile.

Rocktruck, one of the most innovative and fastest-growing logistics operators in Chile, officially announces its arrival in Peru.

With a vision focused on formalizing the transportation industry, operational efficiency, and cutting-edge technology, the company is launching operations in Lima with the support of Limagas, a subsidiary of LipiAndes, the group that acquired 70% of Rocktruck in 2023 for US$13.4 million.

A STORY THAT BEGINS IN THE CAB OF A TRUCK

Founded in 2018 by Eduardo Segovia, Rocktruck wasn't born in a boardroom, but in the bunk of a Scania 113 truck. Inspired by his father's experience as a transporter and by the structural shortcomings of the sector, Segovia decided to create a company with the soul of a transporter and an entrepreneurial vision.

In just a few years, Rocktruck went from operating with two trucks to moving more than 700 units daily in Chile alone, with projected revenues exceeding US$30 million by 2025.

Rocktruck currently has more than 60 clients in Chile, including consumer brands and supermarkets.

THE PERU PLAN

Now, with the support of LipiAndes, Rocktruck is launching its first-, second-to-last-, and last-mile experience in Peru, adapting its operating model to the needs of the local market. It also boasts a robust technological platform, developed in-house and designed to digitize the company's entire value chain, acting as its backbone.

With more than 15 modules, Samanta covers everything from customer, personnel, and carrier data capture to operations, finance, HR (in development), onboarding, payments with real-time views, document management, and a ticketing system for incidents.

Its main benefits include process automation, centralization and security of information, adaptability to each client, and carrier loyalty, achieving a 70% reduction in pre-settlement efforts and a 50% reduction in response time.

“We want to replicate what we learned in Chile, but also adapt to the Peruvian context. Our promise is simple: operational efficiency with a human face. We are transporters who understand the business from the inside out,” says Eduardo Segovia, founder and CEO of Rocktruck.

ROCKERS: FOCUS ON SUPERMARKETS AND RETAIL

Rockers, launched in September 2024, is a service designed for supermarkets and retailers that combines Pickers (who assemble orders in-store), Shoppers (who assemble and deliver with their own vehicle), and Drivers (who only deliver).

In just seven months, the platform generated revenues of over US$1.5 million and added more than 240 active Rockers, achieving a 38% growth in market share, according to Karen Donoso, Assistant Commercial Manager. They currently operate with five supermarkets in Chile and expect to expand to the same extent in the Peruvian market.
