The Swiss construction company is investing in the Andean country as part of its expansion strategy in Latin America.

The Swiss multinational Holcim has just officially launched its gray cement and concrete offering in Peru, aimed at raising the technical and operational standards of the construction sector.

In the cement category, Holcim introduces a line of high-strength gray cement, which stands out for its new packaging and for being aligned with the brand's global quality standards.

This line is composed of five types of cement adapted to various construction requirements.

Among them are Ultra Durable, formulated for structures that require high protection against moisture and sulfate attack; and Fuerte, ideal for concrete, mortar, and general construction due to its excellent workability and durability.

Holcim's specialized concrete line combines technology, innovation, and sustainability with solutions designed for a wide variety of projects, from infrastructure projects to architectural buildings.

This portfolio includes products with high strength, rapid setting, self-compacting, durability, high density, and superior color, as well as washout-resistant options for complex environments.

All of this is supported by a comprehensive service that includes quality control, personalized technical advice, and traceability of deliveries, ensuring reliability and efficiency at every stage of the project.

“Holcim is a brand that represents progress, innovation, and a commitment to the future. Our offering in Peru seeks to support customers with high-value solutions that enable them to build more efficiently, safely, and sustainably,” said Antonella Latorre, Marketing Manager of Holcim Peru.

In Latin America, Holcim has a presence in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru and the French Antilles through four business segments: Cement, Ready-mix Concrete, Aggregates and Solutions and Products, and is the company behind some of the most trusted brands in the construction sector, such as Disensa, PASA, INDAR, Quimexur, Tensolite, Horcrisa, Minerales y Agregados, Holcim Modular Solutions, Comacsa, Lacasa, Geocycle, among others.

GROWTH WITH PROFITABILITY

Over the past twelve months, Holcim has implemented a series of strategic moves aimed at strengthening its presence in the Peruvian market.

As part of this plan, it completed the full acquisition of Compañía Minera Agregados Calcáreos (Comacsa) and Mixercon, significantly expanding its reach in the industry.

In the first quarter of 2025, it added a third company to its portfolio: Compañía Minera Luren, with annual revenues exceeding US$40 million.

With these transactions, Holcim has set a goal of achieving a run rate of around US$240 million over the next year, considering the synergy between the companies.
