In the recent edition of this list prepared by AméricaEconomía , EAESP-Fundación Getulio Vargas of Brazil leads the subranking of current income of its graduates, followed by the Argentine Universidad del CEMA and Universidad Torcuato di Tella.

Return on investment is a relevant factor in the decision-making of potential students seeking to pursue an MBA program. Introduced as an independent dimension of the AméricaEconomía MBA Ranking , this contains, among its variables, the current average monetary income of those who have completed an MBA program.

This in itself represents a motivational factor of great importance for potential students. For this reason, we decided, firstly, to give significant weighting to the complete dimension in the final index and, secondly, to always analyze that variable in our own table, converting it into the current average income subranking.

This year, the current income subranking is led by EAESP-Fundación Getulio Vargas of Brazil with US$10,650. The distance from the current average income of that school's alumni is at least twice as large as the distance between the rest of the schools. Two Argentine schools follow. The second place in this subranking is occupied by the Universidad del CEMA with US$ 7,331, which, in addition to the second position, achieves the greatest variation in monetary income, if we compare them one year before taking the MBA with two to three years after graduate And third place goes to the Torcuato Di Tella University with US$6,776. If we look at the complete top 10, we see that there are three Brazilian schools, three Argentinian, two Chilean, one Colombian and one Uruguayan.

Return on investment, however, contains other variables, in addition to income, that are interesting to observe. For example, general satisfaction, which measures the level of contribution perceived by graduates regarding the training and tools provided while completing the program in a series of areas. In this variable, Saint Paul Escola de Negócios, Universidad Ana G. Méndez – Gurabo, ESPAE Graduate School of Management, Universidad de Guadalajara and Universidad Externado de Colombia stand out.
